I’m Baaaack: Postcards from a Travel Blogger Who Ghosted Her Own Blog
Well, well, well… look who decided to dust off her passport– sort of, and her blog.

If you’ve stumbled back here after months (okay, years) of digital silence, you deserve a loyalty card. Or at least a virtual cocktail. The truth is, life got messy, travel for me non-existent, and this little corner of my world took a spontaneous sabbatical — no return ticket, no itinerary, no SPF, just complete blackness for the past 6+ months of life. But good news: Wanderlust Kel is back on the map.
I’ve spent the last 6 months doing nothing more than existing. When I tell you that I cannot comprehend anything that happened within the past 6 months, its scary. The human body will tell you when something is very wrong– it just shuts down. Thanks to modern medicine, my brain is coming alive again. Physically, I will take much more time to recover, but I’m ready to continue my story telling adventures for the 5 of you who read my blogs like the heroes you are. I have so much excitement in my veins to get back into traveling again, even if it looks a bit different for awhile. Booking things impulsively (as I do), and collecting both wins and “what on earth was I thinking?” moments. Turns out, your suitcases don’t unpack, they just wait for you to dust them off.

Here’s what to expect now that I’m back:
✈️ Quick trip itineraries—thanks to inspiration from a new content creator.
🌍 Europe adventures on a budget (and sometimes bougie) Did you really think I stopped seeing Ed Sheeran in different countries?
🧳 Sharing the Icelandic hot dog experience with a friend
💡 Creating fun Etsy merch! Get yo’ FIBI stickers while they’re hot!

🍕Should I fly to Chicago for lunch?
Whether you’re a seasoned traveler, planning your first solo trip, or just here for the stories that make you feel better about your own travel blunders, welcome. I’ve missed writing. I’ve missed sharing. And I’ve definitely missed having a place to unpack my brain after re-packing my suitcase for the millionth time.
I’ll spend the next few months dusting off the 20+ drafts in my folder and hopefully I will be physically getting stronger to share new adventures with all of you.
New posts incoming. Let’s get lost again (intentionally this time).
~Kel
